There is a time in life when you realise how lucky you are, ours was when we were given the go ahead to design and build The Mothership. Can you imagine being told ‘To hell with the costs, just build something out of this world!’ Unbelievably we were only given the go ahead to build 200 of these world class amplifiers, they were such a rarity to find in stores, as they usually were sold before they got there.

The design and build quality is stunning, 2 x The Engine Room, 200 watt Class A Valve mono blocks, weighing in at 51kg, that is over 8 stone each! The Control Room is valve all the way and boasts no fewer than 7 valves and weighs in at 12kg.

I could talk and talk about the sound quality, the engineering, the gorgeous looks, but sadly, unless you were one of the lucky 200 it is just a dream!
